Luckily, at the end of the summer inspiration hit while we where finishing up the plans for the first site to launch (myideas.tv). Yumeyo is made up from the Japanese words Yume(dream) and Yo(world, society, age). In this case we took the liberty to freely interpret it as meaning DreamWorld. This fits perfect with our goal we try to achieve with the company, help create a better world, and by that fulfill our dream of realizing the ideal world. Keep your eyes out for the launch of Yumeyo.com to see how we intent to do this.

Yumewhat? Origins of the name
Why is it easier to come up for ideas for websites and web-based services, than to think of a proper name for a company? We wanted a name that would represent what we wanted to achieve with the company, just as something that would be relevant to the services we would provide. Next to that there was the final condition that the name still had to be free, and the .com domain still had to be free. That last thing posed quite a big problem. We found out there where organisations who just buy up domain names without really using them for the sole purpose of reselling them. This makes the hunt for the perfect name which still had a free name a pretty harsh one.
